Nickie + Keith

If what they say about rain on your wedding day being lucky is just something to calm a nervous bride's nerves, what they really need to say is that it creates a warm, cozy, intimate atmosphere the way only Mother Nature can. Rain or shine, Nickie and Keith were determined to have an amazing wedding, and they did. They said I do while being interrupted by the rain, but instead of ruining the wedding it added an ethereal charm to their day that made it perfect. Beautiful florals complimented the crisp and clean pink gowns of all the ladies. Soft and sweet touches can be seen all through the day.

There is nothing more romantic than a rustic wedding that reflects the couple and this wedding is one for the books.  Thanks to Ralph for capturing this magical rustic wedding with Blue Iris Photography.

Serena + Nick

Nick

and I met at Hanshew Middle School.  At the time my family and I were only living in Alaska temporarily.  Our home was back in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.  In middle school we were friends but on the very last day I gave him an envelope with my email address saying that I liked him a lot, but my family was heading back to Asia.

From the time we were twelve till eighteen, Nick and I became really good friends and stayed in touch with the help of the Internet.  We talked almost every day.  After high school I came back to Alaska for University and soon, we re- connected in person.  Since then, we have been inseparable.  The day he asked me to be his girlfriend was the day we adopted our little dog, Mitch.  He has grown with our love.

Together, life has been amazing.  We visited Disneyland, Pennsylvania, New York, and Asia twice.  We are best friends and enjoy living life to the absolute fullest. He is my rock and I am his kite.  On the second trip to Asia he proposed. It was the most exciting moment of my life!

Our wedding day was so perfect and everything we could dream of.  Nick and I are grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. Committing our lives to each other in front of our closest family and friends felt so magical and natural.
